My original background is software development, IT consulting and writing technical documentation in both English and German. Lack of quality in 3rd party translations and my particular interest and qualification regarding the German language (native) encouraged me to provide translation services.

I have a Latinum, which is the common credential in Germany for translations from Latin to German. I started with the lessons for the Latinum in 1989 and finished it in 1993. 2005 I switched over to translations from English to German and German to English.
